01Student life
Noida is whereit starts. Norwich iswhere it ends.
02The rhythm
A week in Year One.
Year One runs over 8 months, across two 15-week semesters (3 hours a day, 15 hours a week). Not a self-paced online course — a defined cohort, on campus.
Mon–Fri mornings
Core curriculum sessions, 3 hours a day
Weekday afternoons
Project work, study groups, mentorship
Weekends
Cohort events and independent time
03Around the curriculum
The support layer a direct-entry student figures out on their own.
Year One isn’t just academic delivery. This is what runs alongside it — the pastoral part a family should be able to see, not guess at.
- 01Personalised one-to-one mentoring and wellbeing support
- 02Academic tutoring and study skills support
- 03Career guidance for university progression and beyond
- 04Health and wellbeing activities
- 05A student life programme — clubs, events, and leadership opportunities
- 06Round-the-clock access to academic and wellbeing resources
04Then, Norwich
Years Two and Three happen on UEA’s own campus.
Same city, same cohort, same university experience as any other UEA undergraduate. You continue directly into Year Two — no re-enrolment, no starting over.

What students and parents say.
“Year One in Noida didn't feel like a waiting room. It felt like the actual start of the degree, just with a softer landing before Norwich.”

“What settled it for us was being able to ask hard questions and get straight answers, including on the fees, before we paid anything.”

“I was worried it would feel like a downgrade. It doesn't. It feels like the smart way to get to the same place.”
